A rock star who is a surfer, no way to go wrong
I love Michelle Mankin's writing style. Very poetic even lyrical. I also love the complexity and interaction of the characters throughout the book. Often I felt as if I had fallen through a portal into this world the author's created. Many times I grew angry at the hero and heroine. Everything they did professed soulmates destined to be together and yet sometimes the silliest thing would get in the way of their happiness together. In spite of this--because seriously, step out of a kindle and miscommunication and stubborness is actually responsible for much relationship havock--I refrained from throwing my kindle when I'd grow angry with them and thouroughly enjoyed the read!
